Danskina's made-to-order rugs bring a new, warm design language to commercial and residential spaces alike. Produced by skilled makers in the Netherlands, Scotland, Germany, Nepal and India, all our rugs are characterised by their distinctive textures, unique use of colours, and innovative structure.

Danskina was founded in the Netherlands by Piet and Ina van Eijken in 1973. Since its inception, the company has gained a strong reputation with contemporary design-focused retailers, architects, and interior designers.

In 2013, under the joint leadership of longtime partners Kvadrat and Maharam, Hella Jongerius joined as Design Director.

At Danskina we have worked with some of the world's most talented designers and craftspeople. Using state-of-the-art production techniques alongside traditional methods we endevaour to produce rugs that will stand the test of time for years to come.
