What do we use your personal data for?
General purposes: We use your personal data exclusively for:
- Leather wholesale customer data: Inclusion in our customer database, to send you quotes, and for the delivery and invoicing of products or services you ordered. The legal basis is the performance of a contract with you, a legal obligation to which we are subject, or our legitimate interest.
- Newsletter: Direct marketing and newsletters from Stolz itself. The legal basis is our legitimate interest regarding existing customers, or your explicit, prior consent if you are not yet a Stolz customer. You can indicate at any time that you no longer wish to receive our newsletters via the opt-out option provided in our newsletters. In that case, your e-mail address will automatically be included in a separate opt-out list, based on a legal obligation to which we are subject.
- Contact: To be able to answer the question you have asked, with the legal basis being the execution of a service you have requested.
- Cookies: The maintenance and improvement of our website and to include personal data in anonymous statistics, from which the identity of specific persons or companies cannot be traced. How long do we keep your personal data?
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the processing.
- Invoicing data: For legal reasons, we must retain your invoicing data for 7 years starting from the calendar year following the invoice date.
- Customer data: We retain your customer data for as long as necessary to follow up on our project and for a maximum of 25 years after our last contact. The reason for this longer retention period is that our products have a very long lifespan. This way, we can always assist you in case of repeat orders and repairs.
- Newsletter: We retain your data related to our newsletter until you unsubscribe.
